Nadderud videregående skole Livet under jorden - reptiler, amøbelignende dyr, lysskye vesener, tidlige og enkle former for liv - har vært utgangspunkt for flere skulpturer og installasjoner: Blant annet hadde dette utviklet seg til enkle, vakre former i porselensskulpturene. Nadderud videregående skoles tidligere beliggenhet var på fossil grunn. Dette gjenspeiles i skolens logo, og det var et ønske om at dette kunne komme til uttrykk i den kunstneriske utsmykkingen. Det var derfor nærliggende å ta formspråket i porselensskulpturene som utgangspunkt for utsmykkingen ved skolen. I et rom som lett kunne bli urolig - med mange funksjoner og møbler - var det også naturlig å tenke forholdsvis stort og i enkle former. Utsmykkingen befinner seg både uten- og innendørs, dette for å bidra til å knytte ute- og innerommet sammen. Fem skulpturer utført i bronse, med glatt, lys patinert overflate, snor seg rundt de forholdsvis store søylene i skolens aula/kantine. Ved å plassere disse på søylene, er de "ryddet unna" gulvet, samtidig som de er godt synlige i rommet - både innen- og utenfra. I trappen over kantinekjøkkenet er det en mindre skulptur, et relieff utført i stein (rød Vånga). Skulpturen er ment å kommunisere på nært hold i trapperommet. Inspirasjonskilden er et skjell, og relieffet har en hjerteliknende form. Utendørs, i det søndre uterommet, finnes en større skulptur, også denne i stein. Skulpturen er en videre lek med hjerteformen fra trapperommet. Den organiske formen ligger og hviler, og tilfører en bevegelse til det ellers forholdsvis strenge og rene uterommet.

Nadderud High School Underground life - reptiles, amoeba-like animals, light-sensitive creatures, early and simple forms of life were the starting point for a number of sculptures and installations: A result of this are the simplistic, beautiful shapes in the porcelain sculptures. The previous site of Nadderud high school was fossile ground. This is reflected in the school logo, and one of the aims was to visualise this in the project. Thus it was logical to use the shape and form of the porcelain sculptures as a basis when decorating the school. In a room that could easily appear crowded - with many functions and pieces of furniture - it was also natural to think in large-scale and in simplistic shapes. The decoration project includes both indoor and outdoor areas, thus connecting the outside environment with the interior. Five sculptures in bronze, with a smooth, patinated surface, are wound around the sizeable columns in the school assembly hall and cafeteria. By placing the sculptures on the columns, they are clear of the floor, and at the same time clearly visible in the room - seen both from the inside and the outside. In the flight of stairs above the cafeteria kitchen there is a smaller sculpture, a relief made of stone (type: Red Vånga). The sculpture is made for close-up communication. The inspiration for this piece is a shell, and the relief is heart-shaped. In the southern outdoor area, there is a larger sculpture, made of stone as well. The sculpture is a playful continuation of the heart-shape in the flight of stairs. The organic form lies resting, and adds movement to the otherwise quite strict and clean outdoor area.
